Therefore,<mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Alpha<\/mark>appears less separated from the frequencies below.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-purple-color\">Theta<\/mark>has second-place dominance across most of the session, however, this is most likely due to me being in a calm state than it is a result of entrainment. So we&#8217;ll have to keep looking for clearer entrainment signs elsewhere.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Unlike previous tracks (which used audio only), there is a clear gradual increase of<mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-luminous-vivid-orange-color\">Gamma<\/mark>energy over time.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Similarly to previous similar sessions, three distinct bands are formed \u2014<mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Alpha<\/mark>separated on top,<mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-luminous-vivid-orange-color\">Gamma<\/mark>separated at the bottom, and <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-purple-color\">Theta,<\/mark><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-green-cyan-color\">Beta,<\/mark>and <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Delta<\/mark> in the middle <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>However, since this session was experienced with open eyes, all these bands are closer together and grow even closer as<mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-luminous-vivid-orange-color\">Gamma<\/mark>increases in energy over time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><a has-vivid-purple-color\">Theta&#8217;s<\/mark>second-place dominance is shown only in the <strong>Right<\/strong> hemisphere (<strong>Front-Right<\/strong> and <strong>Back-Right<\/strong>), with particular emphasis on the <strong>Back-Right<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Out of all similar sessions, this is the first one where<mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-purple-color\">Theta<\/mark>does not have second-place dominance in at least one left brain quadrant.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure \/><\/a><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Right, Back Sensor (TP10, Gamma and Delta Isolated)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Looking at the <strong>Right, Back<\/strong> quadrant, very clear signs of entrainment can be found \u2705<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Specifically, in the<mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-luminous-vivid-orange-color\">Gamma<\/mark>frequency range, we can find an oscillating sinusoidal pattern with sustained and consistent peaks and valleys.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Similar effects have been observed in some previous sessions and were initially observed in <a href=\"https:\/\/sinewavelab.com\/sonofields\/brain-waves-while-listening-to-theta-isochronic-tones-nex19\/\">Session 19<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>This phenomenon seems to be very prominent in this particular session and can sustain it for about four complete minutes before breaking up a bit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><a href=\"https:\/\/sinewavelab.com\/sonofields\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/eeg-session-24-theta-audiovisual-entrainment-02_v02.webp\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" class=\"has-inline-color has-luminous-vivid-orange-color\">Gamma<\/mark>and<mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-green-cyan-color\">Beta<\/mark>(peaks and valleys align).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><a \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How Does Dominance Change Over Time?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The graphs shown below show how&nbsp;<em>dominant&nbsp;<\/em>frequencies were across the session, in %.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Dominance for all frequencies in the <strong>Back <\/strong>sensors (<strong>TP9, TP10<\/strong>) remained stable throughout the session.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The largest changes observed were in the <strong>Front <\/strong>sensors (<strong>AF7, AF8<\/strong>), namely:<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-green-cyan-color\">Beta<\/mark>increased steadily in dominance going from 12.5% to 26.5%, which corresponds to an increase of 112%<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-luminous-vivid-orange-color\">Gamma<\/mark>increased steadily in dominance going from 5% to 16%, which corresponds to an increase of 220%<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Both<mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Alpha<\/mark>and<mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-purple-color\">Theta<\/mark>decreased in dominance over time.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Finally, I found an uncommon<mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Delta<\/mark>behavior in the <strong>Front-Left<\/strong> (AF7) quadrant, where this frequency range has two periods where it increases very high in dominance (sometimes up to 85% dominance) and remains there for 1 or 2 minutes. This activity is not signal noise, it didn&#8217;t occur in any other sensor, and it&#8217;s the first session where I&#8217;ve seen this behavior. At this point, I don&#8217;t know what it means, but due to its rarity and unusuality, I&#8217;m inclined to attribute this phenomenon to an effect caused by the entrainment track \u2705    <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-2 is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image For this session, we have:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We can divide this session into three parts, as marked by the rectangles in multiple images.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>In the left hemisphere,<mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Delta<\/mark>started with a stronger center of gravity in the front, then shifted to the back, then shifted again to the front.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the front,<mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-green-cyan-color\">Beta<\/mark>started with a stronger center of gravity in the center, then shifted to the left, then shifted again to the center.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the left front,<mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-luminous-vivid-orange-color\">Gamma<\/mark>started with a stronger center of gravity on the right, then shifted to the left, then shifted again to the right.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Comment: <\/strong><em>the meaning or practical implications of this are unknown to me, but it&#8217;s indeed interesting, and I would attribute it to the entrainment track.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the right hemisphere specifically,<mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-luminous-vivid-orange-color\">Gamma&#8217;s<\/mark>center of gravity shifted from the back towards the front.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Comment<\/strong>: <em>this seems particularly interesting, because frequencies tend to have more energy in the back. I would attribute this the entrainment track.
