Next Room is a collection of convolution reverb impulse responses designed to create the sound of audio heard elsewhere in a house or building.
Use it for a TV playing downstairs, voices heard from the living room, music leaking through a closed door, or other off-screen sounds that need to feel distant and naturally tucked into a scene. Add believable room character and depth without recording the sound again in a real location.
Bring off-screen sound to life
A convincing “next room” sound is about more than simply turning down the volume. The space between the listener and the source changes the sound. Next Room helps recreate that impression, making dialogue and effects feel like they belong in the scene rather than sitting on top of the mix.

How it works
Load an impulse response into a compatible convolution reverb plugin or impulse-response loader, then apply it to dialogue, music or sound effects. Adjust the effect to suit your scene and mix.
Please note: An impulse-response loader or convolution reverb plugin is required. The files are WAV impulse responses, not a standalone reverb plugin.
As you can see in the video above, the impulse responses did a good job at emulating their counterpart real spaces.
Adding to that, we also have the absence of noise and the flexibility of moving the sound source around in the sound field
